Athalon Sportgear entrusts the iFX Interactive and MarketMyBusiness.Net teams with their website project

When Athalon Sportgear needed a website to present their diverse product line to both their B-to-C and B-to-B customers, they came to the iFX Interactive and MarketMyBusiness.Net teams. We'll design a site managed by a custom administrative mini-CMS (Content Management System) to allow the client complete control over product content. Then, an effective presentation of their business partners by means of a zip code searchable database will take Athalon's customers to the proper place to purchase their products. Anticipated site release will be March 2007.

ABOUT ATHALON:
Athalon was established more than twenty years ago manufacturing high quality sports bags, duffels and ski bags. Each bag was designed and tested by Athalon employees, who were avid sports enthusiasts. In order to pass the rigorous tests, the bag had to be incredibly durable and strong, but also had to work perfectly. The pockets had to be the properly sized and placed in the ideal spot for best usage. The shoulder straps and handles had to be appropriately balanced and comfortable. Every bag had to be water repellent or allow for proper drainage when necessary. The bags had to be lightweight for carrying ease. Each stress point, whether it was on a handle, shoulder strap, or bottom seam had to be properly designed and then reinforced to stand up to all stress demands. The toughest and final test was to produce a bag that was a reflection of the Athalon employee's commitment. It had to be something special to get our stamp of approval.

As the years passed, Athalon developed a reputation for outstanding quality and service. We designed bags for many of the largest sports retailers, the US Ski Team, as well as several professional sports teams. We expanded our product features by purchasing an innovative luggage company, SkyValet. SkyValet is the maker of the only standup wheeling garment bag and the originator of the upright wheeling luggage. The goal was to be better, not bigger.
